Always in Rimini

The notes of unmistakable summer hits such as "Guarda Come Dondolo" and "Tintarella di Luna" leave little doubt: we are in the ‘70s holidays in Rimini. Marta and Teresa are working at the bar on the beach, but they have bigger aspirations: they are planning to move to America. While Marta is sure in her choice, while Teresa is full of doubts about her future and even more about herself.
She feels like sand: crumbled into many tiny pieces and scattered  everywhere

by the wind .

With the help of an unexpected replica of Mina as her fairy godmother, Teresa will learn about herself through the world. Dance, spoken word, and music will transport the audience through alternating comedic, lyrical, and dramatic moments, dealing with themes such as individuality, the complexity of the American dream, identity, and the power of desires.

Viola & Lucy The Little Star

Viola is a little girl from a very distant planet
from ours. She came to the Earth to perform a
very important task assigned by his teacher: to discover how children from the Earth live. She will be helped by a nice dancing and magic helper: Lucy the Little Star!
Sometimes Lucy won't be able to answer to all Viola's questions alone (What do you write with a pen? What is a brush? What is music? And many others!) and they will ask for help directly from the children in the audience.
A story told with dance, games, and
the simplicity of poetry.

<Un grazie di cuore alle due artiste per la grande capacità di trasportare anche le maestre in un mondo immaginario!>

- Many thanks to the two artists for their great ability to transport even the teachers and all the kids into an imaginary world!  -

The Witch & Galileo

The text of the play is a combination of original material and uncopyrighted works such as the Bible and the Verbatim transcription of the process to Galileo Galilei translated into English by the company itself.

Our Italian background and experiences with institutionalized religion were part of why we chose this story. We started workshopping "The Witch and Galileo" from the first scene (Uninvited Waters), which we presented at Salvatore La Russa Dance Theater Festival to receive feedback and test our choices in front of an audience. We are now working on new parts of the play to perform in other contexts to keep our development process alive and communicate with the spectators.

YES! -Extract from 20's

Modernist authors from around the world critically dissected metropolitan life in the 1920s: has society changed since then?
We are living a hundred years after the so-called Roaring Twenties, an age of wealth and technical development, but also a time of political controversies and social issues. The Jazz Age, so prolific for Western culture, developed in a climate of rising xenophobia and self isolation that will later on drive the world to the birth of fascism and the outburst
of World War II. Similar contradictions can be found in the present day, where mankind had reached a peak in technological and scientific research, but continues to show the same problems of one hundred years ago.
'20 is an episodic journey through eternal recurrence: thanks to typical modernist tools, such as irony,

stream of consciousness and interdisciplinarity, the audience is carried into different scenes, with the purpose of fostering new
questions and problems about their vision of world society: recognizing what our ancestors did and the mistakes they committed is the best way to prevent those tragedies to happen again. Yes, our parents left us a world on the edge of self-destruction, but we can change it. By studying, by creating art, by forming our own opinion we can
make the world flourish again.
"Yes" is one of the main episodes of the show and uncovers the thoughts of a young woman before, during and after a casual rendezvous with a nerdy clerk. A funny, light story is able to reveal deep truth about the female body.

Live Updates

Alex, a young politician is accused of the kidnapping and subsequent murder of her wife. Although innocent, the constant 'live updates' of the corrupt press confuse Alex's reality, and she slowly slips into paranoia until she is convinced to be guilty of the crime. The piece questions the boundaries between reality and perception and the devastating effect of propaganda.

Pandemic Day of Sun

We decided to make art to fight the gloominess and boredom of the quarantine.

We decided to make art to fight the gloominess and boredom of this quarantine. We hope this video will make you smile, sing, dance, and have fun with us! From Japan to Brazil, from the US to Italy, from Spain to Canada we all came together to build a universal community and stand up to the hardship of the current situation. This piece of work is the result of the worldwide collaboration of young artists and is the answer of the world of the arts to a society that needs beauty, hope, and happiness. We want to demonstrate that art can be found everywhere, even in the beat generated by someone cutting carrots or tapping fingers on a desk.

Despite the technical difficulties created by the fact that we were all in different cities and countries, we managed to create a piece of art through one of the most essential items of the present day: the smartphone. All the videos and audio taken to make this happen have been strictly recorded through our own phones, without the use of professional materials.
